Letters containing information on Healthy Louisiana Open Enrollment dates and plan changes for 2019 will be mailed to all consumers who are included in the Open Enrollment period.  You can call Healthy Louisiana toll-free at 1-855-229-6848 or visit http://www.myplan.healthy.la.gov to make a choice or change plans during the Open Enrollment Period. Remember, Healthy Louisiana Open Enrollment dates are not the same as Marketplace Open Enrollment dates.

If you are receiving services and want to keep your current Healthy Louisiana plan, you don’t need to do anything. You will continue to get your health care and your specialized behavioral health services from your current plan. You will stay with your Healthy Louisiana plan for another year as long as you still qualify for Medicaid. If you want to change your current managed health care plan and have been on your current Healthy Louisiana plan for over 90 days, you can only make those changes during the 2019 Open Enrollment Period unless your plan changes services you need or you cannot get certain care you need.

If you move, have a change in household size, have a change in household income, or experience some other life change, contact the Medicaid office and report that change.  Disruptions in your Medicaid eligibility can lead to unnecessary medical expenses; however, you may qualify for other financial assistance if you are no longer eligible for Medicaid.
